Blickenstaff's

     So the other day, I was out with my family, and we happened upon one of the most wonderful stores that's ever existed! It's called Blickenstaff's. Right when we walked in, there was a feeling of magic and wonderment. We wanted to stay forever, but my brother wasn't feeling well so we had to head home. I was quite distraught.
    If ever you're in Orem, and are looking for something fun to do, you should head over to Blickenstaff's! It's in the Riverwoods, and it's the most fun you could have in a toy sotre! Check it out! Here's their website! http://blickenstaffs.com/

 I can hear is the music blasting though the tiny speakers that I've shoved into my ears

I look up, and I try to see how many people I know

And how many know me

Fewer people know who I am

Who I really am

If you knew me, you'd know that I love sign language

You'd know that my mom died 3 years ago from cancer

  And that I actually don't like "your mom" jokes

You'd know that I put of a face

If you really knew me, you'd know that I'm self conscious about the music I play in front of people

You'd know that musical theater is my life, and that I don't care what you say about it

You'd know that I hate school, but I always go

You'd know if you really knew me, that I hate tomatoes, cooked carrots, and that I can't eat an entire cup of yogurt because I can't handle the texture. 

If you really knew me, you would know that I hate parties and loud places

You'd know that I'm afraid to have children of my own because I'm afraid I'd drop them

You'd know that I have 7 siblings and that I have had the best relationship with my parents

You'd know that I feel sad for people who don't

You would know that I have ambitions that I think are beyond me

If you really knew me, you'd know that I am so desperate to fall in love

You'd know that I hate to cry in front of people, even wen it's dark.

You'd know that it's actually not okay that my dad is dating again. 

If you really knew me, you'd know how obsessed I get about TV and movies

You'd know that I try so hard 

You'd know that I don't exercise unless I have to, and I hate myself for it

You'd know that I listen to new songs for 3 days straight and don't get sick of them

If you really knew me, you would know that I try really hard not to look or act awkward

You'd know that I have self esteem issues

You'd know that I love to help other people with their problems

You'd know that I have a negative body image

You'd know that my attention span only allows me to listen to you for a few minutes before I completely tune out

If you really knew me, you'd know that I go to bed at 10:00 because I'm actually and old lady

You'd know that I don't actually like to look into your eyes when you're talking to me...  I look right between your eyes or at the tip of your nose

If you really knew me, you'd know that I have had my Lion King backpack for over 4 years and I'm trying to use it until it falls apart completely

You'd know that I'm narcissistic and I that I check my blog and my facebook regularly to see if people have commented on my things

You'd know that I'm afraid my poems and stories are too long and that you won't want to read or hear them

You'd know that I have an anxiety disorder and I often have panic attacks

You'd also know that I don't know half of the triggers of my panic attacks, they just happen

If you really knew me, you'd know that my dream job is to be Ariel in a Disney park, and that I've been practicing the princess signatures just so I would have a leg-up

You'd know that even though I do a lot of theater, I get nervous when I speak in public

You'd know the reason I do theater is because I love to escape my life and step into another's life

You'd know 

If you really knew me, you'd know I care about others more than I care about myself

You'd know that the real me is somewhere inside me. I know I can let her out, but I can't figure it out. You'd know that I would give anything for her to show herself to the rest of the world

Jealousy

You know... I've always been jealous of William Shakespeare. He is the BEST play write that has ever lived. His sonnets are just beautiful! 

One of my favorites is:

Sonnet 20

"A woman's face with nature's own hand painted...."

Shakespeare had a way with words. There are parts of this poem that just make me melt. I just hope that my husband will write things like Shakespeare's sonnets and read them to me all the time!

"Which steals men's eyes and women's souls amazeth."

It's just that William Shakespeare was a brilliant man who could turn a phrase. He knew exactly what he was talking about when he wrote is plays and his Sonnets. He was just good at what he does. I wish that I could write things that were as profound and and timeless as Shakespeare's words. 

  "...But since she prick'd thee out for women's pleasure,
   Mine be thy love and thy love's use their treasure."

Thank you William Shakespeare for leaving behind the most brilliant and inspiring writing that has ever been put to paper.
